Hi! We are new to the area and so excited about all this snow! Does anyone know the best hills for sledding in the southern end of the county?

You could always go to Walmart and buy inflatable tubes and they work just as well. Also, trash can lids work. I hope you all find a spot to sled and tube.

Ace hardware on 55 in Apex had some. Of course that was before the snow so I'm sure they're gone now. But maybe they carry them regularly.

There is also an Ace in FV, not sure if they carry them.

The sports store in downtown FV also has some higher-end sleds (not the typical thin plastic ones).

South Park is the place to go sledding in Fuquay. You go to the back corner of it where the hills are. Great for sledding. It is on Hwy. 401 just after you go through down town Fuquay and through the light at Judd Pkwy. on the right side past the Recreation Building. Sledding is behind the walking park and there is a big parking lot to park in close by.
