I wouldn't bother putting down a heated blanket. The dog is wearing a fur coat! The dog would be fine even if left outside.

If you can't find something specifically for animals, I'd guess that a heated blanket would be less likely to burn the dog than a heating pad.

be careful to put any anti freeze, fertilizer and other toxic chemicals out of the garage too! Our dogs get so bored sometimes they go looking for things to get in to.

That might be a great solution. She has a great soft bed and I could put that
under it..

For everyone that suggest a different set up , I know you mean well but
she enjoys the yard & invisible fence and being able to come & go as she wishes.
I will make sure she is warm enough..

I kinda know my dog.

She is used to being outside a lot and sleeping in the garage and being able to go in and out to the yard with an invisible fence.
I usually let her sleep inside so I thought the heated dog bed would be nice if she is outside at night.

Good points ...she has used it her whole life to eat & sleep and enter her yard .
My son's dog ate a firestarter and we found out it was toxic and
had to be treated . Shes okay

Our dogs would be miserable in a small room as well. Hope you found what you needed!

Do you have time to order online? This company is great:

Dog Beds: Heated Dog Beds | DrsFosterSmith.com

Not sure if I can post a link to a catalog per TOS so if not just google it at "Fostersmith"
