I have actually heard it is a great school, and have clients move to Wake Forest for that school. Not that you won't get redistricted though. We all know that can happen. Good Luck and let us know how you like the school.

I have a co-worker whose daughter goes to it...they actually request to be there (it's not their base)....and friends of ours have their daughter starting on Track 4, and they are excited to be there.

To be honest, I've not heard anything bad about it from parents I know, but I am sure if you look hard enough you'll find someone that doesn't like it.

My daughter is going to kindergarten there and I have heard great things about JDE. All my neighbors that go to JDE all think it is a great school. We are very excited about this upcoming year.

I know someone whose child attends Jones Dairy. They like it alot as well. It was their choice a few years back to send their child there.

JDE:

a old fashioned school- very friendly teachers & staff
Academically, I have found it to be excellent. The teachers are bright & well-organized.
The pricipal is very hands-on- he is in the classrooms quite a bit.
Negatives?
Last year it was overcrowded, but, 1/2 the about kids got redistricted out to Sanford Creek & N Forest Pines, which is sad, but, other than that I am really happy with the school.
