The Triangle and surrounding areas could see snow three times during the next seven days, but don't go out and buy a snow shovel just yet.

"We’re not expecting a lot of accumulation out of that … the worst case scenario would be a dusting," said WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner.

A developing area of low pressure will track south of North Carolina late Wednesday into early Thursday morning, but it will be close enough to bring a light round of precipitation.

It would be great if it would only snow on the grass, trees, etc but the not on the roads, parking lots and side walks.

There is a website I started reading over the Christmas weekend and they were pretty close to dead on...it's wxrisk.com. I don't understand a lot of the technical stuff but it is interesting.

Raleigh is to snow as Cleveland is to Football.

(The devil made me do it... That, and I was born in Pittsburgh.)
