I live next to this building project which has just gotten underway.
The soil in my building is unstable and there are many areas that have gone out of plumb. Do not know what the builder has done to stabilize the clay soil but haven't seen any pilings driven under the concrete slabs at Greenbrier.
There is also an issue at our property with trespassers from an adjoining complex. The builder put up a fence between Greenbrier and that complex but one part is now down. Perhaps the trespassers were unhappy at the shielding of their home from the view of prospective buyers.
Since a copy of the structural warranty on the web indicated that settling wasn't covered, I'd want a competent engineering analysis of soil conditions before purchasing there.
At least, I can just move if my building really gets messed up. Gaps are opening around windows and walls are out of plumb. So far, cosmetic but I'm glad I won't need to sell my unit when I leave.
