We had a screened porch added to our house about 3 years ago. Very recently
I noticed one of the posts which supports the roof (and perhaps the porch itself - I don't know) has bowed outward. This post is in the corner of the porch, closest to the house. We're quite concerned and want to get a recommendation of a good structural engineer to come out and look at this situation, and tell us what needs to be done. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone in Durham or who will come out to north Durham? We live out in the county. We think this problem needs to be looked at very soon.
