Well it changed from a few days ago. On Sunday, the 10 day forecast had a wintry mix over the weekend. So the new forecast looks good to me!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank goodness, I hate the cold, little chilly next weekend for the lows but the highs aren't too shabby, I can deal.

Well 7 out of those 10 days are below average temps for this area.

We're not totally there yet...we still seem to be in the pattern from late December/early January. And there are a few systems worth keeping an eye on...especially the one on the 24th-25th. And there's a bit of a wintry threat for the coast this weekend.

It has actually been a pretty unique pattern for the southeast, when you think about it. We get a storm system in here on December 26th. Then we thaw out slightly. And around 15 days later...we get the next big system (which was a slight icy mess here)...we then thaw out again...and 15 days later??? We're looking at another system that has some potential.

So, I guess that means don't make plans to travel around Feb 10th and Feb 25th.

I bet the 30 day temperature average starting today is warmer than the 30 day average form the previous 30 days ...

Wow...almost 60 degrees out there! I have on a short sleeve sweater...stopped in to get my car cleaned and had to laugh at the number of people all wrapped up in their coats and gloves!!!

I just hope this is normal. I grew up in snow and ice, but I was really getting tired. This last batch of snow and ice was really pushing me over the edge. I hope it stays this way for a long time.

I'm in meetings with some folks from Belgium and Minnesota. Its really hard to keep them inside ... I think they're ready to move here. I keep reminding them it was white outside here a week ago ..
