Hi,

Does anyone know where in Durham and vicinity I can obtain frozen tropical fruit pulp? I used to buy Goya brand in PA but haven't seen it in the small mexican stores near my house.

Much appreciated!

Is "tropical fruit" the flavor or do you mean just some variety of tropical fruit? I got Goya frozen mango pulp at a Food Lion in Cary for smoothies.

Hi,
yeah! I meant mango, chirimoya and passion fruit, which are the ones I used to buy.

Thanks for the tip, will check the food lion.

I don't know if they have it in every FL. This particular one has a large selection of Hispanic food products.

You might want to try Compare Foods. They have a great selection of Latin products and a couple locations in Durham.

The Food Lions in Cary are not all equal in terms of how much Latin food (Goya brand) they carry. I've found the one at Kildare and Maynard to have much less of a selection that that of the the one on Reedy Creek and Maynard.

I use Cream de Coconut and the prices and selection are far better at the Reedy Creek/Maynard location.

The one I was talking about is the one at Reedy Creek/Maynard! My husband is Indian and surprisingly they use many of the same ingredients, so I get them at that Food Lion.

What do you do with frozen fruit pulp? I've never heard of such a thing.
