Because the carrier is different every day, and today it looked like the mail was being delivered by a 14-year-old girl. And, they don't drive around in an indentifiable USPS vehicle. It looks like a regular car with a yellow-orange light on top.
Well, I would think the possible ways of finding out would be: 1) Call your post office and ask or 2) run out and ask the driver the next time you see him/her coming down the road.
I don't know where you live, but in the more "rural" (for lack of better word) areas, the mail is delivered by a USPS employee in their own car.
I don't consider Holly Springs "rural" on the pure sense of the word, but up until about 2 years ago our mail was delivered by an employee in her own car. I never saw the setup inside but I know that the steering wheel was on the left side but she drove from the passenger side. Not that that piece of information answers your question, I just thought it was cool.

I'm from a very small town in Virginia. Because it was so small, we didn't have the common USPS truck drive by each residence to drop off the mail. It was simply a USPS worker, driving around in his/her own vehicle delivering mail. The 14 year old girl you saw could have easily been the person's daughter or granddaughter since without a bike, I don't see any other reliable mode of transportation she could be using to deliver the mail.

Damn, you beat me by 4 minutes.
As a kid, I saw a few cars with the steering wheel actually on the right side. My friends and I always thought it was really cool.

I always thought it was funny because her car needed a muffler. You always knew when the mail was coming!
