It's been a few years since I've rented a self-storage unit, but I think I'm going to need one soon. The most convenient location for me would be somewhere around Capital Boulevard and the I-440 Beltline, and the closer to that the better, preferably somewhere either Inside the Beltline or in the northeastern part of Raleigh. Also, I would like one with 24-hour access, since a lot of the self-storage places around town have hours like 6 AM to 9 PM or something like that, but I frequently find myself needing/wanting to get to my self-storage unit either earlier in the morning or later in the evening than that. I know that the SecurCare chain of self-storage places promotes itself as having 24-hour gate access, but there aren't (I believe) any of those very close to Capital Boulevard, since the nearest one I'm aware of is on Glenwood Avenue in the Pleasant Valley area, which isn't very close. There are so many self-storage places around nowadays that I'm hoping there may be one with 24-hour access that's closer than that, even if it's just a small mom-and-pop place, but I haven't found one yet, and haven't been able to locate one on the internet. If anybody knows of something like that closer to Capital and I-440, please let me know. Thanks!

All these companies offer 24-hour access, either for free or for additional rent:

Public Storage is 24 hours and heated/cooled on all units. You can also drive inside for when it is raining, which is nice. It is at the old Harris Wholesale location on Capital right near the Wake Forest Rd split.
