I use Gaston's Garage in Apex for 3 personal vehicles and 6 corporate vehicles. They have never once suggested I needed something "more" and their tire prices are the best in the area. They do a brisk business. 387-7270 Bill Powell.

They have lot of bad reviews online compared to other repair places

I'm sure not going to go to bat for Gaston's due to the number and apparent veracity of the negative reviews. I didn't write the words, and have not had a negative experience, but I could conceive of poor service and lengthy waits. I've always been treated fairly (2 years) and if/when that changes, I'll bail too.

I have had good experiences with Gastons. Where are the negative reviews you refer to?

I used to use Crawfords. They are really good folks, but seemed to never have my car ready. I always made an appt and had the car there the night before, but they would scramble to have it ready by the end of the day.

I like WASP automotive on 55 / 54. Some NPR "car talk / Click and Clak" fans recommend them.

I'd been very happy with Apex Transmissions and Repair.

I go to Cricket in Cary on Chatham. I have found them to be very honest and reasonably priced.

I started going there when another shop recommended $1000s in work (that was not needed) and a friend of mine recommended that I take me car there for another opinion.
