I have heard rumor that it is girl scout cookie season. I've seen them in years past outside Wal-Mart on 15-501, selling cookies. I am craving Thin Mints BIG TIME! Has anyone seen anyone selling cookies in the area? I want to go stock up!

They'll be all over the place this weekend. Check CVS, Walmart, Food Lions, Harris Teeters. I'll be selling them at CVS on Penny and Kildaire in Cary all day Saturday if anyone in the area wants any!

Does this mean that anyone who ordered from the cute little girl in the neighborhood will be getting their delivery soon? The little girl in question couldn't answer that question for me.

The big pick up for cookie pre-orders is Saturday, so if you ordered them from a girl scout, you should be getting them this weekend.
And I agree, those Lemonades are AWESOME. My favorite too!

I bought some outside Trader Joe's in Chapel Hill on Sunday. My Thin Mints don't taste like they used to! I have a bad cold, so I thought that might be the case, but my DH and DD both agree with me. The peanut butter patties are top-notch, though.

They are the same recipe. No changes this year, but they did in 2008

The country is divided into two zones, with different bakeries producing Girl Scout cookies for each. So the names vary by region, as do the tastes. So if you're used to a certain cookie before moving to NC, you may find that they are slightly different here.
