My husband and I are considering moving to Heritage, but I have a few concerns. I love where we are now can’t beat the location, can walk to shopping, shelly and lynn lake are 5 minutes away and work is about 10 minutes. When we first moved here really liked Heritage, but the distance to downtown Raleigh kept us from buying there. Now that I’m mainly a stay at home mom (work 2x/wk) and we have another baby on the way we are considering it again. We both like the idea of a new community, all the amenities and the fact that everyone is new (our current neighborhood seems kind of clique). We’d most likely break even on selling our home (may lose a little) but prices are down everywhere so we could also buy a nicer home and interest rates are still low. So has anyone moved from NW Raleigh to Wake Forest Heritage and been glad they made the move? Also any idea (I know, might as well look into a crystal ball) on how the housing market in wake forest is likely to fair over the coming years? Thanks for any advice or suggestions you can offer.

I think WF is a good long term bet. I am looking to move there from E. Raleigh. Lived all over Raleigh in last 35 yrs. My child is in Heritage MS, love it! We go to the Factory often.
