I will be getting my degree in Public Health soon from Kaplan and will be moving to the Raleigh area. I wanted to know any information on the status and job outlook in the Public Health field whether its program planning, educator, organization programs, outreach, and health administration. Is it better to work in the hospitals in the area, if so which hospitals? or the NC local/state government??

UNC-Chapel Hill right here in Chapel Hill has an very reputable Public Health program (both undergrad and grad level), putting out lots of grads every year who will be your competition. There may be better areas with less competition?
Otherwise, nobody can tell you what field to go into--that should have been part of your concentration in school, no? As the above poster said, what was your specialty? You'll have the best shot in the same field you have previous experience in.
You're moving to a high concentration of medical/public health people. No offense, but Kaplan doesn't rank as high as some of the established MPH programs in the state. Not saying it is impossible, but the talent pool is saturated.
I have a friend that does hiring for a large CRO here in the park. For every entry-level MPH advertisement they put out, he gets 100 resumes from folks that graduated from the best ranked programs in the nation (UNC is the highest ranked public school of public health in the nation, and #3 overall).
It's tough to compete in the area, especially as an entry level. If you have experience, then it becomes a little bit easier to move laterally, but it will be tough for you having just graduated.

Yep... that's pretty much what I was gonna say. Get some experience someplace else first... then you'll be competitive here.
