My wife and I are going to be coming down leaving Thursday to look around the area. Where is a good place to stay. Most important is a clean Motel or hotel for around 79.00 per night. We want to see as much as possible in 2 days driving around. Cary,Apex,Chapel Hill, Durham,Raleigh and pittsboro areas.

Thanks for the help.
Jed

Don't know about price, but when the family and I visited several times while house hunting we stayed at Comfort Suites on Ashville Ave. in Cary. We're on their rewards program but the chain is pretty good. There's an O'Charley's right there and other places close by. Good highway access and good location. Good luck!

Don't about the price of this place either, but when we were househunting, we stayed at the Residence Inn near Crabtree Valley Mall. Perfect location, right off 440, close to shopping and food. Plus, free breakfast every morning and evening socials Monday-Thursday with food.

For those particular areas I would recommend either a hotel off of Airport Blvd near I-40 or at Southpoint Mall. Both of those locations are centrally located to Chapel Hill and Raleigh and only minutes away from Cary and Apex. Pittsboro will be about a 40 minute drive. Both locatiobs also have restaurants and Southpoint is a mall and Airport Blvd has Triangle Factory Shops which is an outlet mall.

Good Luck!

And don't forget that there is a Hooters across from the Outlet Mall on Airport Blvd!
