Well, after the worst allergy season of my life my first year in Raleigh last Spring, they're back at it even earlier! End of March to about mid-May I went crazy, scratching out my eyes while no medications seemed to work. Now this is all starting up again, only this time it's February!!

What a place to live, 3 seasons - cold, HOT, pollen.

I grew up in Asheville NC and this is my first spring in Raleigh. I've never ever had allergies before. The past week I've been miserable and OTC zyertec only takes the edge off for a few hours. Guess a trip to the doctor is in order.
Thankfully I'm heading to a different city in a few days.

I've developed them over the yrs of living here. Tried all the usuals but found Astelin the best allergy med. When i'm on it nothing bothers me. Beats, Claritin, Zyrtec, Flonase, Nasonex and Allergra. Talk to your doc about....

I had my allergy meds refilled last week. I do it every year when the Forsythia starts to bloom!

I had terrible allergeys in NJ and first few years here. Almost hid in the house with the blinds drawn and ac on. ...then they slowly went away over the course of 8 years. Last year I took meds 2x... yes 2x.
I have no idea why... and am always nervous they'll come back.

My seasonal allergies went away when I started eating super healthy - a very nice side effect (in addition to losing quite a bit of weight).

I started using Astelin a few years ago for those "mystery allergens" that testing wouldn't reveal. It works great on those sudden attacks too. You know... severe sneezing and your eyes watering so bad you can't see... and you have thick snot running from your nose to the ground Who cares what's causing it....just get rid of it!
