Does anyone know if you can park at the District Drive Park and Ride (near the farigrounds, off blue Ridge Rd) overnight? Taking the Triangle Transit 100 bus to the airport woud be way chepaer than parking at Fast Park.

Any problems w/ break-ins there????

No problem leaving your car there, but there are very few cars left there overnight so your car would stand out. I've left my car there before overnight and not had any problems, and I have also not heard of break-ins, but that doesn't mean there haven't been any. Supposedly most break-ins these days involve a quick smashed window to steal in iphone or GPS left in plain sight (which, IMO, is just asking for it.) The park and ride It's right next to a Wake County fire/EMS station and just down the street from a highway patrol station if that makes you feel better.

Beware, however, the 100 only stops at District at off-peak hours. At rush hour, the 105 serves District, and does NOT serve the airport.

IMO it is better to drive to the Triangle Transit transfer center on Slater Road, park there, and catch the 100. I have done this and it worked just great.
