Wondering if anyone here is a member of this parish or has attended mass here. Can you share your experiences? We are moving to FV a week before Easter and we're searching for a place to celebrate Holy Week masses. More importantly, we are looking for a parish to join, preferable close to home. Our oldest is in 2nd grade, but will not be able to do first communion until next year, due to our move. I've checked out the parish web site but wanted to get some opinions from those who attend/have attended St. Bernadette's. Thanks!

Sorry you didn't get any responses. I don't attend Saint Bernadette's because I live in North Raleigh, but I have friends that do. They really like it but I know Masses can be crowded - the sanctuary wasn't built to accomodate all the current members. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

Thanks! I think that will be the first church we check out once we move, since it will be so close to our home. I appreciate your response!!

Yes, I am a member of St Bernadettes in FV and also am a scout leader for the Pack that they Charter. Father Torres recently came to St Bernadettes and has been a great addition to the Church. In addition, we have an Associate Pastor Fr. Robert who is equally fantastic.

The church recently expanded to keep up with the growth and now can handle the membership issues mentioned above. There is a strong Knights group, faith formation classes and everything else you would expect to find at the Catholic Church.

If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. Also, if your little one is interested in Scouting we'd love to have him visit a pack meeting to see what we are all about and I can give you more information on that too.
