In case you missed it, here are some photos from the Marry Durham event yesterday. The weather was perfect and almost 2,000 people came out to enjoy great music, beer, food trucks, and make their vows to Durham. Here are a bunch of the photos I took during the event!
I won't divulge my identity, but I caught a glimpse of myself in one of your pics!
AWESOME event, quintessential Durham, a mix of so many different communities and cultures. I ate my first meal from a food truck--the Bull City Sliders (I think that's what they were called--some were confused because there was a dance group of a similar name performing). I had an absolute BALL. I think this may become an annual event, and if so, I expect an even bigger turnout next year.
So I wonder... if you did go and Marry Durham and then moved, would Durham owe you alimony?
Sorry to hear you are moving. Hope Wilmington works out for you. Being closer to the beach this time of year is wonderful!
Ooh...I should have gone for the alimony...
I will miss it and this event didn't make leaving any easier! I love Durham...I just love living by the ocean a little more...
(Fullsteam and Onlyburger, please open Wilmington outposts, thankyouverymuch)
