We are looking to move in NW Cary. We have visited Weycroft, Cameron Pond, and Hortons Creek. Location, schools, and family friendly neighborhoods are what we are looking for this second time around for buying a house. Can any one provide the pros and cons to living in any of these neighborhoods? What is the distance between Cameron Pond and Weycroft? Does anyone know about a new development coming soon called Old Stone Estates?

Weycroft and Cameron Pond share several of the same custom builder group.
They also share the Cameron Pond pool. The commute from Weycroft to the Cameron Pond pool is about 1.5 to 1.75 miles.

Weycroft is farther from 540, so highway noise will be lessened.
Cameron Pond offers some lower price point homes, and some homes at a lower price tier.
Weycroft adjoins Amberly and also a new proposed, but yet to be approved by TOC, subdivision that will front on Green Level Church Rd.

Horton's Creek is a Baker Residential development and Baker is the exclusive builder. Homogenity in appearance is a pro, or a con, but a subjective taste.

A lot of the balance of pros and cons will depend on where you need to be daily.
