I am a MS in Physiology from NCSU (2008) and I am currently working for Wake Forest University doing research in drug studies. My fiance' and I decided that we could really do well in developing our careers in RTP. I have been applying, networking, and talking to many people about different companies in RTP. I have had a few interviews, but nothing has really come up for me. I was hoping to branch out here, and see if anyone had any connections or suggestion that may be helpful in applying for research positions in RTP. I would greatly appreciate any help. :-) Thanks

You might take a look at some of the biotech firms. The bigger companies are cutting R&D around here.

I have been looking at all companies, all sizes. Its been really tough trying to get back into Pharma/Biotech. I have been looking at alternatives such as going back to school and getting a minor in biotech or something that may be more marketable.

What do you really want? Are there companies that you prefer?

What type of job are you wanting? Like a bench scientist, or clinical trials paper-pusher? (No disrespect intended... I am the latter!!)
