I'm looking for some information about the Granite Crest neighborhood, which is part of the Granite Falls community in Rolesville. I know that the HOA dues include membership to the Swim Club that's adjacent to the neighborhood. I also know that the elementary school is right there as well.
I was wondering if any of you live in the neighborhood or know folks who live there. Is the neighborhood kid-friendly? Are the neighbors friendly? We've driven through the neighborhood a few times and really did not see a lot of folks out and about, so I thought I'd take a chance to see if anyone on the City Data community would be in the position to share your insights.
I work from home, but my husband works in downtown Durham, so I'm wondering about the commute as well.
I am answering to bump this up a bit.....I have only shown houses there, don't know anyone who has purchased there. I am a member of granite falls pool and really like it a lot! the facilities are very nice, great indoor pool as well, plus the workout facilities are very nice.
Thanks so much, Leigh! We have driven through several times in the past few months and it looked to be a little deserted. However, my husband drove through yesterday after work and he said that it appears to have a good amount of folks -- including kids -- out and about.
I was just curious if anyone in the City-Data.com community lived there and had some insight on the neighborhood. I do hear great things about the Granite Falls swim club, so that certainly is a plus.
Thanks again and if anyone else cares to comment about the neighborhood, I'd appreciate your insights.
