What is a good place to see NFL games on Sunday afternoon? I don't have Direct TV and will not have it this fall. I'm already having withdrawal symptoms just thinking about missing the Baltimore Ravens games this season. I was "bummed out" today not being able to see all of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony today particurlary Cal Ripken's induction. It reminded me of how much I'm going to miss the NFL games. Don't get me wrong, I love ACC sports too but I 've been watching Pro football for the last 40 years and my Sunday afternoons will be very different if I'm unable to see some of my favorite teams (I'm sure in time the Panthers will also become one of my favorite teams).
Anyone know of a restaurant, tavern, etc in the Raleigh area that has lots of screens showing many different games?
McKinlelys in Clayton (on Hwy 70 @ Lowes Food shopping center), they carry one of the NFL packages and put all the games on, you just have to get there early enough to find what tv your game is on and put yourself where you can see it best. The owner or manager are sure to tag all the tv's with which games are on them before they even open on Sundays. They've got a good following for Panthers & Steelers, some Patriots (myself included), a few Buffalo fans, Jaguars, a few Miami fans, and even a Browns fan. ( I really don't go there often... trust me...LOL)
