I've seen the little lake and the bigger lake in Lochmere. Great if you live there and want to kayak a bit. Are there any other subdivisions that have this kind of amenity?

There's also Bond Lake, Lake Pine (technically Apex), Lake Johnson, Lake Wheeler, and probably a half a dozen others whose names I don't know.........

The lakes tee-tee mentions are not in a subdivision. They are all nice lakes, though.

Carpenter Village is another neighborhood that I know you can kayak on its lake if you live there.

Default West Lake

West Lake is in the D.R. Horton neighborhood "West Lake". No idea if you can kayak in it or what rights you get as a homeowner there, but thought I would throw that out there. The single family homes there are HUGE. They also have some townhouses or maybe a better word is cottages. They appear to be 1 story attached homes. The neighborhood is located in Cary near the Middle Creek schools (but currently has an Apex address).
