I have a healthy respect for them. It makes me nervous to be at risk in the evening as it's not possible to see them. I hope the storm is out of here before dark.

It is very hard to get used to no tornado sirens and no basements. Being from the midwest, I was used to hearing the sirens and camping out in the basement at least once a week during tornado season. We bought a weather radio so we can get the warning signals. Next best thing to the sirens.

I might have a little, older home...but it has a basement Love it!!
