Here in Chapel Hill we were told the distribution center - can't remember where- was badly damaged so the shelves barely had anything. Hope they are up and running at full steam again and soon.
We went thru Dunn on Saturday on our way to FL - tried to get off onto Rte 301 there since I95 was at a standstill - 301 was closed because the Food Lion warehouse had an ammonia leak. Think this is probably the problem you're experiencing.
My fiance is a manager of a FL and yeah you are right, the distribution center in Dunn lost part of it's roof and had some other damages, so everything is coming out of the Salisbury distribution center for a while, which means some bare shelves.
