Hello All

Are there any nutritionist or dietitians on here willing to give some advise about this as a career choice? Basically I am looking to find out what the journey is like, if it's a good field, stress level (if any), how do you feel making that career choice etc.

Feel free to share your thoughts, experience and journey from start to finish. This is something I am considering and I just wanted to find out more about it most likely from someone who is in the field itself or maybe know of someone in that field.

Thanks so much in advance.

P.S. How did you get started?

Hi, I am an RD but no longer really practice. I got my degrees from Meredith College. That!s where I would suggest you start: call the nutrition department and see when they are having their next information session.
Good luck!

I am not a RD, but UNC also has a Nutrition program. You might contact the department to talk to some graduates about your questions.

Central in Durham also has one. All are considered good programs. Chapel Hill's is heavily focused on the public health side of nutrition and is highly regarded in that aspect.
