According to Accuweather, we, along with most of the south, are lining up for the conditions for another tornado outbreak the first part of next week.

I think they have updated their prognostication to push the risk farther west. We are not mentioned in AccuWeather's latest update.

I think NWS just had an itchy finger with that watch. I think they saw a few of those storm cells popping up around the Triangle and decided to pull the trigger. I don't think they're taking chances after what happened on the 16th and what's in store for our area tomorrow.

It was looking like this really dangerous storm (that is now spawning numerous deadly tornadoes in Mississippi and Alabama) was going to hit Central/Eastern NC earlier in the morning and not be all that severe by the time it reaches us. Well, NWS RAH updated their forecast last night by saying it's going to reach the Triad by around noon and cross into the Triangle later in the afternoon/early evening. That could be BAD news for us since we'll have plenty of time to warm up during the day as the front reaches us. And now they're talking about a greater chance of severe storms and the risk will be there for isolated tornadoes. The air will be unstable, for sure. Pay close attention.
