Does anyone know of any good spots around RTP that have good southern sweet potato pie?

Preferably not the ones in grocery stores, unless they really have that home baked taste.

Nancy Jo's Homemade at the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh has them. They bake the very best in cakes and pies. I believe they now have a website now.

They are yummy! The layer cake is to die for. Mama Dip's in Chapel Hill has good desserts too.

I was thinking about Mama Dips, too.

I'm going to try out Nancy Jo's. They look really good. Thanks for the tip!

Let me know if you find any more places.

I like to support diners and such, more than chain restaurants. The food is soo much better...

Scratch Bakery, downtown Durham. I've never had it before I had theirs, but it was absolutely delicious.
