I just moved here from DC and would like to know what clubs are hopping on the weekends. I`m used to gogo music but I know that is nonexistent here. I can party with the 25 and up crowd.

your one response speaks volumes to the fact that Raleigh is as hopping as a three legged rabbit.Remember we are the honda civic of cities, and like it that way!Cleveland has nothing on us.

^^ Actually I think the one respose is do to the fact that the orginal post was under a nondescriptive title of "Fun" (but it looks like the mod has now made it more descriptive).

That and the fact that we have no idea where the OP is in the Triangle. Is he looking for hopping clubs in Raleigh? Durham? Chapel Hill? Each has their own share and it isn't worth the time to recommend one in a place the OP doesn't plan on driving over to. I'd also point out that the demogrpahic on city-data trends towards a slightly older crowd not making it the best place to get input on nightclubs.

I am constantly amused at the posts on here about how boring the area is. I think it speaks more to the lifestyle of the poster than the area itself.

To the OP: Check out Zspotlight.com They have a list of the various clubs in all corners of the Triangle. I'm not into the clubbing scene but when I go out, I see that most keep fairly busy with the club crowd.

Ditto to the Glenwood South area. Try any of the spots over that way to see if you like them.

Start at Glenwood and Peace at 9-10pm. Walk toward Hillsborough. If you see an establishment with loud music and a lot of people, walk in the front door and rock out for a bit.

$10 says you don't make it to Hillsborough before the bars close at 2am.
