I'm currently renting a townhome from Falls Creek. We have been here for 2 months and are happy. The townhome has plenty of room and feels like a home instead of apt living. They are dog friendly and have pet stations around the complex. They have a pool that is hardly ever crowded, small gym with your basic equipment, and a car wash w/ vacuum.
I thinks its in a great area. Its right off of Capital Blvd/US -1. At the corner we have a sheetz with cheap gas and convenience store. If you make a right onto Capital, you can go shopping in Wake Forest (Walmart, Kroger, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, PetsMArt etc). If you make a left onto Capital there is more shopping in Raleigh (Triangle town Center, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, BJs, plus tons more shopping and restaurant.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to PM me.

If you don't mind me asking, how long/far of a commute is it into downtown Raleigh? To NCSU?
We just moved to the area so I'm not too sure about NCSU. Depending on traffic, it can take about 15-20 mins to downtown. During morning and evening commute, I would add some extra minutes.
