What tech companies, specifically ones that hire software development and test engineers, are located in southern Cary? I'd like to create a list for future reference. Here's a few that I came up with.

Regency Park and MacGregor areas:
Garmin
Nokia
Siemens
OPNET
Lord

Kildaire Farm and Waverly areas:
Bennett Aerospace

Crossroads and Centerview areas:
Epic Games
Inlet
Plexus

Not really interested in Weston Parkway area companies:
RIM
John Deere
SciQuest
SAS

Thanks. I knew that they were bought out, but did not realize that they had moved.

I interpreted your post to mean you weren't interested in those Weston Parkway companies. Just trying to be helpful.

Out of curiosity, why no Weston? Do you have other geographic restrictions? Is it a travel distance?

I'm tired of commuting to RTP and would like to find something closer to home.

You might want to also look at companies in Centennial Campus in Raleigh. Not really that far from some of the areas you listed, and depending on where you are it may be closer or more convenient. I'm not even sure who all is over there these days., but some companies I know where there at some point and may still be there are Spirent, Telesyn, Juniper (very small local shop at the time), Red Hat, and togethersoft. (There are some I know are no longer there, but no point mentioning them).
