Golf at the Washington Duke Inn, Durham. Afternoon tea in their sunroom. Or, lunch on the patio.
Antique shopping in the triangle and Benson.

Thumbs up Very informative!!!

Im liking this thread....gives newbies options for things to do. I had someone give me advice in a different forum, telling me that I would be bored out of my mind if I moved to the Triangle. Im sure hoping this will prove him/her wrong!!!!

Don't pay attention to anything someone (bless his heart ) from another forum has to say about the Triangle .....

I'd like to see someone with an interest in photography attempt to do EVERYTHING on this list, and take photos of the entire experience. Wouldn't that be great?

Then they could make it into a book if they wanted.

Someone mentioned Jordan Lake. Take a chair to the boat ramps and watch the drunks try and back their trailers down the ramps. Classic!

Top 5 in my humble homeowner opinion:

1. Watch paint dry. In this heat it dries quicker than you can put it on! No yoke!
2. Water garden, again and again and again!
3. Rake up dead oak leaves from summer heat!
4. Listen to your sun baked grass crack right under your feet!
5. Listen to the buzz. buzz. BUZZ of zillions of Cicada bugs high in the trees!

6 - 9. Heat related!

10. Watch a sunset on Falls Lake Dam slide over a western hill...perfect end to a day of chores around the house!

Ops did I say 5....the heat got me!
