We have fire ants that appear outside near a large tree in our yard pretty much every year. I want them GONE.

Anyone know of a good exterminator that can do this without polluting the ground water supply for 30 miles?

They never left . I dump bowling water on the holes a 3-4 times and that pretty much takes care of them for me.

...There are fire ants in the Piedmont now?! If you are sure they are fire ants, thats very sad to know.

I know about 10 years ago there was talk of them moving further inland, but last I heard they still weren't around the Raleigh area.

Lame. Good luck!

Yea sorry. and it looks like you need to make sure you have them come back and treat it a week later too to kill those that were out during the first application.

Again, good luck. They are some nasty bastards.
