LOL! The Buckhead Waffle House I visited truly did look like a filthy bathroom. Behind the counter the floor was literally covered with food, and a worker came out with a 10 gallon bucket of bleach water and poured it on the floor splattering food being cooked on the grill, counter, and workers. Gross.

I ate there last Tuesday and I must say for it to be a Waffle House I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It was actually a hell of a lot better than IHOP and for a lot less.

Golden Coral, Oooh, best chocolate cake EVER! I took a client there last week and all I had was half a plate of some kind of meat and the best chocolate cake ever!! BTW, it was his choice to go there.

I did have a customer who wanted to go to the Waffle House, many years ago, and was able to talk him out of of it. I still do want to go there now that it is smoke free.

The WF waffle house is indeed smoke free, and it does look and feel brand new. I just wasnt too pleased with the food, I thought the sausage patties were dry, the eggs not really tasty, and the toast as a side was insulting to the toast to call it toast.

The staff and the service was spot on, and the woman who switched from the other store to manage this one is really pleasant and courteous.

I will try it again in a month, maybe it was opening week jitters........ Service/Spotlessness 5 stars, food about 3.

Waffle House is good hangover food.

Personally, I can't wait until Chipotle comes to Wake Forest!
