What can I say hubby and me LOVE US SOME WAFFLE HOUSE. I was driving down Highway 98 and looked to the right (as you get near Target) and there it was . . that beautiful sign that Jim Gaffigan says looks more letters from a ransom note (google Jim Gaffigan on Youtube..he calls it the Affle House)
Another saying "It's 2am and time to make another bad decision"...
I have to say that in my 42 years I had never eaten at a Waffle House, but when I spotted one in my hometown of Louisburg, I thought it had hit the big time.
Unfortunately, I dined at Waffle House twice here in Atlanta, once near Ga. Tech, and once in Buckhead. I thought it was disgusting both times. The hash browns were as wet as noodles, and nothing was the bargain I'd been led to believe it was.
Hardees, Bojangles, and Biscuitville will always be my favorite breakfast haunts. God, I hope Bojangles comes to Greater Atlanta.
I don't have a problem with Waffle House at 2am or about once a year for breakfast. on the Bus 70 portion of Clayton, there are like no breakfast places - no Denny's, IHOP, Bob Evans, etc - all there is is waffle house - I prefer Biscuitville or Hardees 98 percent of the time.
Saluki...I know how you feel! I SCREAMED the first time I passed the sign that said "IHOP Coming", on Six Forks Road. Hubby was driving and almost ran off the road!!!
I'd have to be starving to eat at a Waffle House but I'm happy FOR YOU!
Sweet....I wonder if THIS one will be open til 2am. If so, I say we have a CD Meetup at 2am sometime there LOL
Hmm... it's too far out of the way to show up drunk.
And that's the only way I can really enjoy Waffle House.
