The Wake Forest Middle School Dance Marathon
This Friday, June 3rd 4:30-midnight
Dinner starts at 4:30 pm - dancing starts at 6:00 pm
at the Factory, Wake Forest
Join the largest middle school dance to help children who are sick at the same time! This is the ONLY dance where friends from other schools can attend together!
WF-RMS (Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School) SOS Club had organized a Dance Marathon and Fun Fair from 2006-2009 raising a combined $75,000 for Duke and North Carolina Children’s Hospitals since 2006!
The event is opened to ALL middle schoolers in Wake Forest and beyond!
Come dance all night to a dj, have a great dinner, and help kids with cancer at the same time!
The event raised $18,000 last year for the hospitals! We hope to finally break that $20,000 plateau this year!
This event is organized all year by a group of middle school students at WF-R Middle School who wanted to start a dance that would bring students from all over Wake Forest together.
100% of the money raised by the students will be donated to the North Carolina Children’s Hospital and Duke Children's Hospital and Health Center. This project teaches students the importance of giving back to people in need and provides an opportunity for our youth to do so.
