Your wife is the NC native and she lives in Houston. But you are a Texas native and you live in NC? And you're still married to each other?

Color me confused.

Anyway, I take a more unilateral approach to Texas. I despise ALL of it from border to border. But it has very little to do with the weather, the topography, the cost of living, the employment picture or the traffic. It's just personal.

Wife speaking. I am an NC native, my husband (the Texas native) moved to NC to be with me, and then we ended up moving to Houston about seven months ago.

I'm sorry you've had something personal happen to make you hate Texas like that, but I can certainly understand.

Oh. I got the impression he still lived here while you still lived there (in TX) and I thought that was ironic being that each was a native of the other's state.

I'll probably never get over my hatred of all things Texan. Funny how just ONE thing can do that to ya!
