I'm going!

I did have to buy tickets aftermarket because that show sold out fast! Fortunately, I didn't have to pay too much more for the tickets than I would have from ticketmaster.

I want to go too, but I'm not paying the Craigslist rates, so I guess I'm not going! I want to see the Decemberists too but we're having our annual block party that night! Grrr. I'm trying to figure out if I can sneak away. I AM getting tickets for Bon Iver!

Default Why the popularity?

As a fellow Brit who likes their banjo sound I'm staggered by their rapid popularity over here. They only have one album don't they? Why are they so well liked?

I think if you asked many people, they wouldn't realize that Mumford & Sons are from England. I know I was.

Their Grammy performance with the Avett Brothers and Dylan helped them, especially since The Avett Brothers are from NC.

I like them because the songwriting is superb and it is very difficult, especially nowadays, to find a band that plays so well. Supposedly, they have a new album coming out soon and I hope they can build on their success. Also, as difficult as it is to play the banjo well, I have a great appreciation to anyone who can do it.
