Does anyone know how much it would cost to buy and install Zoysa super sod per sqft in Raleigh? I am looking to buy the sod and also for it to be installed.

Thanks

I'd also like to hear the latest prices...it will be expensive! I'd like to put some on my new yard but may buy a few sheets and make my own plugs. Had it at a prior home and loved it. It killed the weeds and was like plush carpet to walk on....

I paid $3K for 300 sq yards for zenith zoysia installed this spring in my front yard. Sod was from supersod and someone else installed. Needed to bring in lots of dirt for screening before installation. Zoysia is worth every penny. My yard is now green and everyone else's is browning...and it's only mid-June.

Wow that is expensive !!!!. 3000 for 300 sqft. How much did the sod cost and how much the installation? Did the install guy bring the dirt himself?

mocharoman said 300 square yards, which is (I think) $1.11 per square foot for an approx 50 x 50 plot

I used Tony Woolard of Woolard Service Co LLC (919) 906-6131

He was about $1.00 including topsoil and minor grading. The results are outstanding. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Hope I am allowed to provide phone numbers, If not and it's deleted send me a PM and I'll provide the number.

I have no idea how to convert yards to feet. My quote/price was in yards. They had to bring in a bunch of dirt and till the yard. Whatever you do, don't skimp on the prep before the sod. It really makes a difference to have the right stuff under the sod.

Looks like the range I thought...but if you can afford it, I agree, well worth it! It simply is the best grass I've ever had in my yard. It even grew nicely under big old oak trees... i couldn't get anything to grow under them.

As for the price, it looks like $10 sq yd (3ft= 1yd). I will be doing my version of the plug thing....large plugs, lots of water and TLC.

One square yard equals nine square feet.
