All,
My wife and I recently obtained custody of her 12 yr old sister. She is a rising 7th grader. She is staying at home during the day while we are at work and she is meeting some of the neighborhood kids and going to the pool some. She enjoys art and music and I am debating about signing her up for a week long half day class at Artspace. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they worthwhile? Did you kid enjoy it?
To my Clayton folks,
Do you know of any fun camps/events this summer for kids? I know I am late to the game but I want to see if we can find something for her to have fun doing while it also being somewhat inexpensive. Ideas?
I don't know anything specifically about kid classes at ArtSpace, but I went to a summer Arts camp for a week as a kid and LOVED it, even though I wasn't (and am not) artistically inclined at all. It was just a fun experience and I totally enjoyed it. And ArtSpace is a cool place, so I'm sure she would have a good time.
