Hi All! I will be visiting Chapel Hill and Wake Forest in July and was wondering what the best accommodations are in Chapel Hill and Wake Forest. I would prefer newer hotels and hotels that are comfortable to stay in for about a week. Thanks for your help!

How much do you want to spend?

The nicest newer hotel in Chapel Hill is The Franklin.

The Residence Inn is also relatively new.

I was thinking in the $100 range, which I assume is typical for a hotel room in the Triangle area.

There is a new candlewood suites that just opened in wake forest, I think this week? It is just off of US 1 (capital blvd) and within walking distance to a walgreens and target. It is quite nice!

Then there is an embassy suites that is nice as well.

I just spent 10 days at the Courtyard Marriott in Chapel Hill. It's pretty nice, I think newly remodeled and in close vicinity to some restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly as well.

I did some research and the Candlewood Suites in Wake Forest and it seems like it is very nice! Has anyone stayed there already or heard anything else about it? I think I will stay there during my visit to WF.

As for Chapel Hill, the Courtyard Marriott seems like it is very nice as most usually are. I also saw that there is a Aloft Hotel there which seems like it is very nice as well and is the newest hotel in Chapel Hill I think.

Thanks for the replies so far!
