NRG, sorry for the initial panicked response. I went online and bought my tickets for Saturday, now we just have to camp out for good seats. I'm not supposed to spend any money until my house closes on Wednesday, but somethings are just more important.
It's obvious you don't have any Potterphiles in your family because you would have been on the email list to be notified the minute tickets went on sale (a few weeks ago!) so that you would not miss this very important event!!
JK -- I myself have never made it to a midnight premiere but my kids have not missed one and have had their tickets for weeks! They've also camped out for the release of every book!
Are you kidding? Not a Potterphile? I sold my house in NY, packed everything I own on a truck, got a new job in Durham, etc, etc, etc, just so I could be in NC in time to see the final movie in IMAX. The most expensive movie experience ever!

Sheesh!
Sorry - my comment was directed at NRG!! Enjoy the movie!!

Oh, I didn't take it personally. I missed the last one in IMAX due to a series of unfortunate events. When I realized I could live in a city with an IMAX of it's own, I started packing!
A friend in NY said her theatre is selling tickets to a dual showing - Part 1 on the 14th at 9pm, then immediately after 12:01, Part 2.
Anyone know of a theatre around here doing that?
