I agree! This weather is beautiful. I feel like I'm on an island, with the blue skies and constant breezes. Anyone that complains about this weather is a polar bear

I was dreading my walk this morning - expecting more stifling humidity that would make me feel like I was swimming. The pup and I were so excited this morning that we walked for twice as long! Made me late for work... but it was completely worth it.

I was nicer than it's been here in Phoenix today, but I'm still jealous of those of you in NC!

Dew point in the 40s today? Are you kidding me? That's almost fall weather! I'm lovin' it, but the hot stuff will be back next week. But I'll think about that tomorrow. La de da....

Enjoy it while you can. It won't last. Temps are supposed to be back into the upper 90s next week.

It was lovely. I was in Durham and Chapel Hill on Thursday and was able to walk my dog around the old neighborhood (and spend way too much at A Southern Season) (annual sale!).

"No one here seems to know how to barbecue."

Obviously you can't smell the Boston Butt cooking in my yard on a Weber cooking with lump. It was started at 5:00am this morning and will be lunch for a family birthday party at noon. 9 and a half lbs. Dry rubbed last night.

Butts are nice, but how about whole hog? It was so nice this morning I started on my new barbecue pit, and I started early too. I'm already out of mud
