My mom told me to release a box of each into my yard to help with my mosquito problem. Where does one go to buy a box of skinks or toads?

Ok, so what is this? it was almost an inch long and looked like a giant red and black ant. I feel like I'm living in the jungle, between the random animals and the jungle sounds coming out of the wetlands/greenway. and there's some kind of bee-like thing that is a couple inches long guarding the entrance to the greenway. man ive been missing out living in brier creek before this...

ok so i really gotta start looking on google before i come on here expecting y'all to solve my problems...
im not sure if this is it, but it seems like it:

"The Cow Killer is not an ant, though it looks like a hairy one. It is actually a wasp with a severly ferocious sting that is said to be strong enough to kill cattle.

Males have wings; females don't but can sting. Females lay eggs in another bee or wasps nest. Adults drink nectar."

I tried to squash one of those one time with my shoe. You can actually step on them and grind and they will walk away.

They run all over the outside masonry walls and eat bugs. They are cute, harmless and my cat and dog love to chase them but they are very fast.
