I will be relocating from out-of-state to the the RTP area and would appreciate apartment complex recommendations (or suggestions of apartment complexes to avoid!)
Here's my critera:
-1 bd/1 ba minimum
-short commute to RTP area (aside from looking in the obvious location of RTP, I'm not sure if it's best to live in Raleigh, Morrisville, Durham, Chapel Hill, etc. I'd like my commute to be less than 10 minutes.)
I just moved out of Weston Lakes in Cary.
Pro's
1. Elevators in all 3 buildings
2. Brand new construction buildings (Google Map Weston Parkway...all tree's)
3. Gym is nice
4. Pool and vollyball courts are nice too
5. Oh yeeah don't forget the business center with Wifi
6. Movie Cinema (165 inch screen, full suround)
7. 3 public griils (stainless steel w/propane aleady hooked up)
8. VIdeo game room with Xbox360
9. Flat screen plasma's in every one of the above listed indoor public areas (gym & Pool table room have 2 each)
10. Complimentary mountain or road bilkes available at the main office. (Nice Trek bikes)
11. Directly behind Lake Crabtree with bike, walking & offraod bike trails that lead into Umstead Park.
12. fifteen minute commute to RTP
13. Close to assortment of plaza's and shopping

We live in the Raleigh community owned by the Caveness Farms owner, Northridge Crossings.
Both of these are very good places to begin your search.
