Any recent mattress recommendations ? I have up to $1200
budgeted for queen mattress only. I know it is subjective; I prefer
medium firmness, not pillow top or bricks! Tempurpedic is out of budget.
I am clueless!! Any favorite stores or salespersons in the triangle?

Thanks a lot.

If you are in the RTP area, I would totally go to the 'original mattress factory'. I have gone to the stores on glenwood and on spring forest. Stable prices - they don't have sales as far as I know. And they make them there so you know they are freshly made and CLEAN. :-)

they deliver locally too.

I've bought two beds from the Original Mattress Factory and have been very happy with my purchases. They're also made locally and about 1/2 your budget.

We bought our queen memory foam mattress a couple of years ago from Bed-In-A-Box for about $600.

Original Mattress Factory! I did a ton of research and wound up there -- been extremely happy with the price and quality. One real plus: their mattresses are double-sided, which doubles the life of the mattress. All this pillowtop and 1-sided stuff is a scam to force you to buy a mattress sooner.

Another vote for Original Mattress Factory. THEY make their quality mattresses in house and the salespeople are actually honest (some of whom work in the factory also)! We have bought 3 different mattresses of various sizes over the years and have been extremely happy! Can't say the same for the mattress we bought from a competitor. We won't stray again!
