Dick's Sporting Goods should have them too (in their camping section).

Might be easier to ask which stores don't have flashlights!!! LOL.

Hope you find one or two!

Just checked REI's "find it in store" locator for maglites, and it lists the Durham, Cary, and Raleigh REIs as having them in stock.

You aren't going to need a flashlight here in the triangle this weekend people. No one will be losing power. Seriously, get a grip on everything you freaks.

Just bought 2 at Harris Teeter on High House in Cary. We've been out of town and decided to get some extras on our way home "just in case"......

I'm betting you're young...very young. Although I agree that this is not likely going to affect us seriously, I'd much rather be prepared. Coming from New England, I've been through hurricanes as well as the Blizzard of '78.

Hint- I have two Hurricane lamps on my fireplace mantle year round. They look classy and have been used numerous times. They work very well.

I have never experienced a hurricane or lived anywhere that I felt even the outerbands of a hurricane so I have no idea if you are right or not. I have no idea what, if anything, we will experience....but it seems pretty pointless to rudely criticise someone's choice of being prepared just in case.
