We are looking to move to the CH/Carrboro area. We can't afford a lot because I will hopefully be going to school, so my husband's income will be it.

We need atleast 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Would like washer/dryer connections, but those are not a must and we have a cat. We cannot afford more than $700, but would like to stay closer to $600 if possible a month.

We are looking at the Carolina Apartments in Carrboro, Kingswood Apartment, and The Crest. Does anyone have any insight into any of those?

I know little about apartments in and around Chapel Hill.

Have you checked UNC's off-campus housing web site for info?

They are mostly student apartments. Not new, well used but usually ok maintained apts.
But your not going to have alot of choices in that price range. There are alot of private apts in Chapel Hill also.
