I have to be in chapel hill tomorrow morning (dropping someone off for 3 hours and then picking up) and I was hoping to get in a nice jog. I say "jog" b/c I'm the world's slowest runner and have spent MONTHS to get to week 6 of the couch to 5k. I'm ok with that. My request is: where in chapel hill can I go for my "run" that's not too hilly and is safe? I need a place to park my car. I mentioned my lack of speed, etc. b/c I am not a competitive runner, just someone with a tough health history looking for a nice, fairly easy, ground to jog on.

Ideas? I live in Morrisville and usually run around the Morrisville Community park, or go to Bond Park for the trails around the lake. That's more or less what I've been doing.

I know that Bolin Creek Trail runs behind Caffe Driade and the portions of it I've walked have been nice. It's a steep hill down from Caffe Driade but the trail itself is in a creekbed and I think it is reasonably flat. And then you can spend the rest of your wait time at Caffe Driade having a nice coffee.....

I second the Bolin Creek Trail. Assuming it isn't raining it is very nice this time of year.
